One day I received Marco´s call asking me for my proposal shoot services at Mia Reef in Isla Mujeres, we started talking and immediately we were planning the surprise proposal. Firstly he wanted to propose in Holbox, however, he decided to move it to Isla Mujeres.

He came with the idea of telling Silvana I was one of his friend´s sister and being a photographer myself it could be a good idea to have a photoshoot on the island.

Everything was planned pretty well, but the day of the shoot she started to feel so bad from her stomach, so she asked him to cancel the photoshoot, he said it was impossible because I was almost arriving, so sick as she was feeling she did her makeup and got dressed.

Marcos introduced us and we started the shooting, everything was working, so I took them to the King´s Pool, a very special and intimate place at Mia Reef hotel, and that´s where everything was going to happen.

I told them to go to the end of the path, asked her to run around, and waited for my call to turn back and then hug Marco, she never got a clue that Marco was going to be down on his knee by the time she turned around, so that happened, she got speechless, then the mariachi appeared and the rest was magic!
